Just a question that I thought of the other day, I noticed that oneworld airlines don't have special oneworld liveried aircraft on their regional airlines eg Dragonair, Qantaslink, Niki, etc (AA maybe have do, not sure???)

Would this just be the airlines in question making this decision, eg Cathay preferring to highlight the mainline aircraft rather than the Dragonair?
Qantas don't even a 737 in oneworld (which I find odd given the number of airports they cover compared to an A330 or 747), so not really expecting a 717 or Dash 8 to turn up in a oneworld livery.
Niki could get one given their fleet is currently getting a repaint in to the AirBerlin stylised scheme

In Star Alliance and Skyteam they do have regional aircraft in alliance liveries, KLM Cityhopper, Blue1 as examples.

anyone know any reason as to why or why it isn't generally a done thing?

You will find that due to their affiliation status rather then full member status that they are not required or forced to have the livery... The only reason why OW has aircraft in livery is due to a recent anniversary.

QF's VHEBV A330 is in OW livery when I last saw it.

I wouldn't say an abomination, the skyteam one looks quite classy, the early Star Alliance ones were, well let's be honest, hideous.

and thanks Jamesl, much appreciated.
