Article over on Loyalty Lobby suggests a price rise is on the way - going up $20 to $369 for new members. Old members still renew at the prior rate.
Haven’t seen anything official from Accor yet though…

Membership Fee Update From 1 October 2026, the annual ALL Accor+ Explorer membership fee will be AUD 369.

You Can Keep Your Current Fee As a valued ALL Accor+ Explorer member, you can keep the current membership fee of AUD 349 for your next membership year.

Turn On And Keep Auto-renewal Active Simply turn on Auto-renewal by 30 September 2026 and keep it enabled until your next payment date.

This happened to me. Signed up using NZD and email received today states AUD. Wondering if I should cancel the auto renewal which expires in April 27 and then sign up using a VPN. In that case would you lose any accrued free nights or points etc?

Can't decide if it needs a thread but is there a way to book rooms under the normal member rate after booking 2 with the discounted rate?

Hotel is saying they'll cancel any bookings over 2 because that's the limit for the discount, but it's not like the system provides an option or automatically forces it to the member rate after that.

I've booked 3 rooms at the Pullman Mascot in a single booking online with the member rate. Didn't face any issues. Sometimes perhaps it's best not asking questions?

If only! haha. They emailed me after seeing my bookings and were telling me to cancel all but 2 otherwise the 'system' would. Wasn't that fussed on the discount or bonuses but even the support site suggests it's fine to book more than 2. Oh well, just moved hotels anyway.

Let’s not forget the ALL limit is two rooms for points etc otherwise you get the dreaded overlapping stay and zero credits. Why this is so still befuddles me to this day but it is what it is, or cest la vie in the Accor world.

I asked once why this own goal ruling on overlapping exclusion when I inadvertently did so (long story). The hotel explained that members were abusing the system and booking for family and friends at different hotels in the same city (worst case scenario was hotels in different cities for the same or overlapping nights) or multiple rooms in the same hotel for the same/overlapping nights under their name to gain the points/benefits.

Not a particularly awesome suggestion would be to do a mattress run (and not during public holidays or special events) to clock up the status night....a couple of examples for next week (14/9-19/9) are:

ibis budget Dandenong $392 breakfast included
ibis budget Enfield $398 red hot room rate

Usually such rates are non-refundable. Always double check the hotel booked is able to earn Status points. Also I'd personally use points to pay some but not all of the rate because the points earn rate is not very good for ibis budget hotel. Of course you need to be able to check in and check out.

Sometimes there are bonus reward points offer for new hotel or other promotions. A bonus points offer (rather than a multiplier) are more helpful in notionally bringing the cost down, but I don't see or recall any currently on offer.

If you are looking at $1000 or equivalent points, you need to assess if its warranted considering next years plans.

Have you tried the Chinese option? Reports are it still works and the premium option for $300 would do the trick

Subscribe to ALL Signature for a couple of months. But don't dither as you will need to get those points by 31 December...
