More Fritz. Having requalified and more last year I let my Accor+ lapse at end November anniversary with the aim of January renewal so I could get the 30 free nights this year. However the Accor+ website, which automatically logged me in, is showing me all the benefits of membership without a Join Now button. The App eventually worked after some frozen cookie notifications.

It offered me 2000 points worth $71 when I was able tp renew using a link to a cryptic "redeem points to unlock member perks" promo, but if I used 2000 points to renew it only took $50 off the cash price. Looked dodgy so I passed on binning 2000 points for $50 off.

It's now claiming my membership expired 20 January 2-27 which suggests lapsing and renewing next month is a useful way to get 13 months for the price of 12.

Cheers skip

For Accor Plus Explorer, seems like the headstart on nights is now 40.

Accor throwing a bone to me... only need 20 nights to get to Platinum. Tempting...

Completed my final stay for 2025 at Ibis Styles Brisbane after which i should have attained platinum with 60 nights. Checked out on Tuesday 30 January 2025 after the one night stay. My experience is that it takes around 2 to 3 days for the points to credit to my account including a previous stay at the Ibis Styles Brisbane 2 weeks before.

Been checking every few days but still only see the gold card. I know the app says it takes up to 7 days but other stays have never taken that long to credit.

Has anyone else had recent exeoerience that the last stay to get to platinum takes longer to credit than other stays. I will wait till Monday before contacting Accor.

I completed a stay early last week and it hasn’t been credited yet.
I think with the end of the year plus everything that comes with it, I’d imagine things might take a little longer to process

Thanks Jase05. I will be patient! Will be excited to see that platinum card on my profile!
