Hi all

ISTR an AKL QF F lounge used to exist - does it still do so? It isn't listed in the OW lounge search function.

Cheers

S

A F lounge does exist; it is simply another room away from the rest of the QP. Perhaps that is why it isn't explicitly listed as a separate lounge on the oneworld search engine, because it really isn't just another distinct lounge. BNE I is lacking an FL entry for a similar reason.

Unless they got rid of the lounge since I was last there.....

Better booze selection?

Maybe slightly better. Have to admit I never really pay attention to that. At least all the regular suspects are there.

Quieter at the best of times.

Better booze selection?

Not having visited the J Lounge, I can't say for sure, but I expect they would be the same. The spirits selection in the F Lounge was the same as in the SYD J Lounge, nothing special. Wine was $15-20 bottles.

As posted, BNE International F is similarly set up. No views.

Certainly there's a better beverage selection. Food may be better.

What time would you be there as the food catering does vary during the day?

We would be on the 6PM flight out of AKL. I just realised though that I will have two of teh team with me so insufficient guest spaces...

Are any of you all J; that would help with access?

F lounge bubbles also vary depending upon the time of day.

Food is better before the LAN departure and after the 6pm SYD departure gets worse leading up to the 8pm MEL departure.
