Airside and lounge access at YVR.

I have CI J bookings from YVR to TPE made with QFF points. We arrive by cruise ship in the morning and the flight is scheduled for 0200 the following morning.

I am trying to plan our day but I am not familiar with YVR airport.

There are no other CI flights each day.

Would anyone familiar with YVR be able to advise on what time we are likely to be able to check our bags and get airside for lounge access?

I’d be surprised if check-in is anything more than three or four hours prior to departure.

Unless you’ve got an option to store luggage in the city, you might consider taking the dedicated air-train out to the airport storring your bags in a locker and then heading back into the city for the day.

They obviously return later in the evening to retrieve your bags and check in
