How good are the memories out there? Can anyone tell me when security screening (as we know it now) was implemented at Australian airports. I'm thinking mid to late 90's but I stand to be corrected. I can remember it not being there in the old Adelaide terminal and I can remember it being there in the old terminal. Just can't recall when the changeover was.

Anyone got a better recollection?

ADL Post 1994, screening was on entry - shortly after passing screening escalators up to left was QP and up to right was Golden Wing. Gates were onwards ...

It was certainly there at the end of 94 at CBR and PER, don't know about ADL, as when we landed there it was simply a stop over.
