I wish I had taken a photo of the carpet that used to greet passengers on arrival on Virgin at Hobart Airport. Filthy, threadbare, with holes etc. Was finally taken up and cremated and now they welcome you with polished concrete.

I'm a fan of the carpets in PDX and SIN.

(OK, you know you spend too much time in airports when you have a favourite airport carpet design...)

The carpet in DRW is dreadful. They ripped it up during the refurbishment last year and then relaid the same design.
