Wondering if someone can help with explaning how the Emirates airmiles points earn is calculated please. I've recently completed a straightforward PER-DXB-BCN return flight. Same route, same planes, same carrier all the way through. The only thing that changed was the direction.
Outgoing was PER-DXB-BCN
Incoming was BCN-DXB-PER

All flights were booked and paid for as fully flexible Economy Flex Plus in EK-speak.

I was awarded 7,050 airmiles points for the outbound flight, but 9400 for the inbound one. How on Earth does that make any sense whatsoever? I have tried asking Emirates of course but they're obviously uncontactable and don't answer their e-mail <[email protected]> nor <[email protected]>
