Aircraft used on old flights

I've been completing my flight log and I'm trying to find the aircraft that was used on some old flights. Does anyone have thoughts on particular resources I should use?

In particular, looking for Cathay / Singapore / Qantas data between 1995-2006.

Aircraft type - I've been able to piece together some of it from old news articles etc, but it's patchy at best so far.

I would think that airliners.net photo engine with a filter by airport and dates might at least narrow the aircraft types down a bit. Or at least give you a most likely answer (seasonality and last-minute aircraft substitutions aside of course).

You could try TripIt.com

I have found it can sometime fill in the blanks when I find some legacy trip info and email in or add manually (with historical date).

It’s not perfect and and might only go back so many years. It can get a little confused with historical airlines. Some flights on Varig are now all over the place in TI…

Thanks for the suggestions everyone!

What are the QF ones that you're after? I might have some of the old pattern (bidding) books.
Two domestic flights MEL-BNE in Jan 2005, I'd assume some 737 variant, but I think -300/-400/-800 were all in service at the time.

A bit tough, as Qantas timetables in the early '00 simply referred to 737.

Maybe you could find some old Qantim files?

QF612 MEL-BNE on 12 Jan 2005, and QF631 BNE-MEL on 19 Jan 2005.
I had a look at my records a couple of months either side of those dates but didn’t fly BNE-MEL. QF airframes I did fly on into or out of MEL or BNE to other domestic cities were:
6 x 737-800
2 x 737-400
1 x 767-300
(and lots of Dash8s… but not relevant for you)

Pretty certain 737-300 were gone from AUS domestic service by then, but were still flying for Jet Connect. 767-200 likely gone as well.
