For us green people, what exactly is / what does COS stand for?? :?:

Customer of size, sometimes referred to as POS or Person of size. Essentially a really large person who flabs over the armrest into your seat.

It may be a good thing it was moot, as this afternoon I was able to change my preallocation to a seat in row 37. (2x4x2) :p

...

Now showing all zeros except for F2 A2 ...

Not sure if you were able to get the front-most rows, e.g. row 34 or 35, let alone row 36. This, combined with tight loadings (although not new for flights approaching departure), might make your chances of op-up smaller. Depends on how QF have "sold" Y+, if at all.

Row 36 is an exit / bassinet row with seat preallocation blocked for this WP. (I could call I guess to try for row 36, but they might try to charge $160 as (after all) I am still booked in WHY.

It the standard hybrid reconfiguration oft seen this year. (http://www.qantas.com.au/infodetail/flying/inTheAir/ourAircraft/744ER-14P66J40W187Y.pdf)

Rows 34, 35 are still PE along with 29 and 30 (Skybeds) being PE as well. Rows 11-18, 23-26 for Business, and WHY in rows 36-39, 51-75.
