Grrrrrrr,
I am due to fly SYD-LHR Thursday the 30th of July on a work group booking in Y. I am going a week before the main group. I specifically booked QF31 as it was a A-380. Checked my booking, now 747-400. Not happy!!
I wanted to try the new Y seats, quieter aircrraft, new IFE.

Can't change as I have connecting flights and its a group booking
Rant over

It appears that the delivery date for A380 number 4 keeps slipping (was mid July, seems to be August now), so I guess things it was scheduled to do have to change.

I imagine there are a bunch of unhappy folks late July/early August.

Same has happened to me. Used my FF Points to book Business Class on the A380 from Syd to LA on the 14th July, logged in and found it has been changed to a 747-400. Luckily, I have been able to change my booking to the Wednesday flight and am now back in Business on the A380. Still cost me the 2500 FF Point change fee though, they wouldnt budge on that, even being a Platinum FF.

In light of the other thread about A380 delays, maybe you would be better off on a 744 :!: ;)
