To quote the last line:

Gold Coast Airport was named low cost airport of the year in the Asia Pacific this week.

Then the standards must be pretty low. I usually arrive/ depart via BNE (these days) but my mate arrived from Boston (via SYD) a couple of weeks ago and baggage collection was a joke. Flights arrived every 20 minutes or so but the powers to be decided to operate the carousels every hour or so, delivering 3 flights worth of luggage at the same time. I understand climate change and the desire to conserve energy but please  .

When I read newspaper articles such as this I often feel the journalist is just cutting and pasting press handouts. Do others feel this way?
I'm not really sure that flights from KL to Gold Coast are going to set the world on fire.
