AirAsia boosts Aussie flights, but Sydney misses out

Interesting spin, but shoud they not be "re-boosting" flights. Air Asia operated MEL-KUL double daily over summer. Not sure when it dropped back to single daily.

still looks a darn sight more comfortable than Y for a comparable price to KUL

Of course SYD misses out. What appeal does SYD have for a destination except for high taxes and charges? And an idiotic curfew?

Budget Airline Offers Flat Bed seats on the cheap

AirAsia X chief executive officer Azran Osman-Rani said customer feedback indicated the airline needed to change its seats.

“We concede that the old seats were neither suitable nor comfortable for long-haul flights," he said.

The airline has also announced that its standard economy-class seats would also be revamped, with reclinable seats at 31-inch pitch.
