karens,

I defy you to actually hear the 'click click click click of the needles' over the background noise of the aircraft.

Also, I will not let my wife read your post as she will be gunning for you :!:

Good point.

Off topic - actors who knit in between filming scenes typically use bamboo knitting needles as they are silent. Metal, glass* and plastic ones are too noisy during flming and they have to pause their knitting when scenes are being filmed.

K

*Why anyone would knit with glass needles I do not know. Mine cost me over $100 and are very much a display piece in my collection.

About a 3 hour drive south of Sydney on the coast. Very close to Ulladulla and best of all about a 10 minute drive from Rick Stein's restaurant.

Or a 2 and a half hour drive to Canberra airport.

Finally some common sense returns.

I never did understand the ban on nail clippers and even worse was the liquids ban. If you cannot take enough of your own bottled water on board then the airlines should be supplying them which does not always happen.

What happens to my nail clippers when passing through any asian airport on my way to London
