Hi

I have two bookings with air NZ coming up. Flying Nadi to Auckland on a A320, then a few days later flying Auckland to Sydney on a 767.

We have booked the Works Deluxe seats to secure extra baggage etc.

Can anyone please advise what the extra 'personal space' included in the Works Deluxe seats mean? Also what rows are they located?

I can't seem to find any further information.

Many thanks in advance?

Hi there, I flew Works Deluxe with NZ last year on a A320. Seats at the front of the plane were allocated as well as exit rows. We sat in exit rows only to find that they would not recline so BIG disappointment. Also the leg room was only marginally better. The seats at the front did not seem to have more leg room than standard economy either. But u do get the middle seat free. Its a good deal if u have luggage and the extras are a small bonus.

Not much more for Works Deluxe, but getting a free seat next to me is sure worth it!

Much appreciation, cheers!

And the lounge access is nice too. Koru Club is much better than QP IMO :)

It's not immediately obvious on the NZ seat maps, but the dark coloured seats are the ones blocked for Works Deluxe pax:

I haven't been on the 767 recently, but hopefully they will have the old "SPACE+" seat pitch - which was pretty good (and a real shame they ditched that for user pays). The regular A320 pitch is dreadful. Have you selected your seats on the NZ website? They Works Deluxe seats are clearly shown there.

The included food service was a bit better than previously - IMHO. But it was pretty bad there for a while.

As previously stated, lounge access is definately a positive if you don't already have access.

Sat in row 3 on an A320 on Fri (Space+?) pitch was about 32-33inch I think and was appreciated as we'd paid for Seat fares :)

Only noticeable difference in space because we copped row 21 on the previous flight - might as well have been Jetstar

Flew this week and can say the seat maps are wrong. I had Works Deluxe and was in 9C and 10A/C was WD too. In fact the selection for me was something like rows 9,10,11,12,13. So perhaps Air NZ adjust it, per flight?

I thought WD was OK but only just. Lounge access and middle seat empty was nice but leg room and recline were strictly economy. The Air NZ staff also did seat-hopping to give out newspapers and express cards to their premium pax and skipped the WD pax who were not also premium.

And the in flight service, even with meals and drinks included, was very, very economy.

And I just remembered, when I went throught the cabin, the only WD seats seemed to be in rows 8,9,10,11 or so. And only on the ABC side. The front rows had 6 pax per row. It was a 100% full flight.

From July 1, WD seating on the 320's will be rows 1-2, A/C/D/F. Pitch 34" +

On the 763, WD are the 7-15 D/F seats and aside from 7D/F the pitch is 30"
