Hi,
I'm tall (6 foot 2 or 3), and recently flew between Auckland and Houston, return. I flew Business Premier on the way there, and Premium Economy on the way back, so it was interesting to note the differences.
Business Premier had outstanding food quality, with more choice, while Premium Economy was still what I would call excellent cuisine.
The main issue with Business Premier is that I could never feel like the lie-flat bed was quite long enough, and couldn't find a position comfortable enough to sleep for more than about 1 hour, even with my head jammed right up as far as possible. Premium Economy was good in that there was ample room to stretch my legs (it helped having a laptop case to rest my feet on). I ended up sleeping something like 10 hours as a result in Premium Economy.
Would I try Business Premier again? Sure - just to see whether the lack of sleep was more a result of leaving earlier in the evening (that flight departed at 6:30pm as opposed to the flight back which departed at 8:30pm).
Note: the Premium Economy seat was Air NZ's new one (not the spaceseat, which looks awful due to the poor recline).
