Air India to launch Melbourne-Delhi

mmm, have to go to Dehli in Feb next year.

Think I will stick with Cathay thru HK, I like CX's J product.

Sorry to bring this up but it is time when Air India should be loading their timetables onto the system and nothing yet has indicated MEL, this is very worrying given that they do plan to operate on NOV 1 this year. AI have not also released an official timetable for MEL>DEL either.

So has anyone have any updates?

Air India traditionally prefer to run their flights a day or 2 after the actual scheduled date/time. This keeps both their staff and their passengers on their toes and vigilant.

Looks like Air India is still a no-show for Melbourne's inaugural flight on Nov 1. MEL is still not listed as a destination on the Air India website. Maybe Nov 2011?
