Hi all

I hope someone can help me with this, as I am confused. I am looking at booking a flight VCE to TXL on 28th May. I'm OW Emerald so of course would like to make the most of the benefits if possible. I can see two direct flights, one on AB dep 1115 arr 1250 and one on AZ at dep 1140 arr 1315. The AB flight states it is operated by AZ but I can't find the same flight on the AZ website. Expertflyer lists them both and has them down as different aircraft types (a319 v E75). My questions are:
1. Do AB operate a flight on AB metal on that route (I suspect not)
2. Is there just a glitch in a schedule change that needs to be updated (and all flights are operated by AZ on AZ metal with a AB codeshare)?
3. As a OW Emerald are there any benefits of booking an AZ flight with an AB flight number (on AZ metal), over booking with AZ direct where it seems I can select seats etc.

Thanks everyone for your help

Thanks very much whatmeworry!

This is another thing that has me confused, the airline earning table published by QF states that points and status credits are not earned on "on Codeshare Flights operated by airlines other than oneworld® alliance airlines",which AZ isn't but seems to be the carrier.
I am assuming that given it is a code share there will be no access to OW lounges?

Thanks again, I appreciate your help.
