Sydney Airport still wants AirAsiaX
I was hoping Air Asia would fly out of Sydney - its a pain traveling to Melbourne
But it failed to get approval from the Malaysian government in time for a July 1 start date, forcing the airline to abort plans to fly to Sydney for now.
My comment.
The number of airlines now flying to Singapore, plus JQ's entry probably has a lot to do with MAS lack of bums on seats. Thailand, Bali and Now China capacity growing.
MAS is throwing a .vn airlines like tantrum. Anything less than 2 planes a day is not going to hurt. If you resist, Jetstar will get bolder. AAX is the lesser evil.
