Clivem...apology accepted and greatly appreciate you posting that. I have flown Air Asia many times intra Asia in the past, and generally have had no problems. Usually, when they cancel a flight, you get a notification email, and you can go online and select an alternative flight. My main gripe is that even though I know the flight has been cancelled, I have yet to receive the cancellation email notice and their booking system has not been updated, so the call centre can't help me ...I have since emailed their complaints centre so let's see what happens. At the end of tha day, I have made 2 flexible hotel bookings to cover the 2 possibilities...we fly the night before or the later night flight on the original day. PS it is good for one's soul to fly Y every now and then
especially when you have to pay for 5x tickets!
