Thinking of booking Premium seats GC/KL then KL/London has any one any advice/tricks on this including overnight in KL on way to LDN and which flight of 2 to take AM/PM for LDN. Thoughts on spending 3 or 4 days in KL on the way back. Is Air Asia and Air Asiax the way to go?

Welcome to AFF

Definatley get Premium seats on the KUL-STN-KUL legs.
Normal seats should suffice for OOL-KUL-OOL.

The Tune hotel at KUL is 5 mins walk from the Air Asia terminal is cheap, clean & basic for an overnighter, you pay extra for bath towels and aircon, but even then you shouldn't pay more than about A$30 for the night. The beds are great as is the shower, free internet is available off to the side of the lobby.

Hope this helps
