After years of flying, always something new to laugh at

A few years ago I was on an unnamed US carrier across the pacific. I was a staffy in F and the (male) F/A kept asking me if I needed 'anything else'...time after time. As a reasonable looking young straight lad I was pretty confused....anyway after the trip I thought about the situation and realised what 'anything else' meant! I was more embarrassed about being so naive than anything else.

anyway after the trip I thought about the situation and realised what 'anything else' meant! else.

It's not obvious what it means to me - I am often asked this in first and may answer has varied from 'no' to 'salty nuts' to 'a pillow', to 'a mains adaptor for my laptop' to 'a toasty cheese sandwhich'.

I am not sure it is code for anything - Or have I been totally naive about how hot I am to both sexes all these years.

As an aside, I sat next to the soprano from this group on a flight from LHR to DUB just before Christmas last year (with all the snow, etc.) It was an Aer Lingus flight and defeinitely not Ryanair! She was chuffed I identified her individually and without her fellow singers :p
