This is obviously safe, otherwise it wouldn't be CASA compliant -right?
I was under the impression that nothing stowed under the seat in front was allowed to jut-out beyond the extent of the seat-back, in case it posed a trip-hazard during evacuation of a smoke-filled cabin.
So how is it that this seat/floor fixture can be deemed safe? ... am I going silly in my dotage?? Would a laptop bag be allowed this far out from the seat-back??
Taken on VH-VZX (according to Qantassource) row 5 ...
