Flying internally in Africa From Kenya to Tanzania. Kenya Airways, air Tanzania or precision airways are the choices. Any experience on reliability, safety etc would be much appreciated?

IMO, All are good
More importantly both countries are Travel friendly - millions visit every year and tourism is an important part of its economy and a lot of the tourism are not the "cheap/budget". So that says something about tourism related travel modes in the country.

We have just flown Kenya JNB to NBO return. Y up and J via a bid upgrade back. We also flew them from Mombasa to Nairobi in Y. All flights on time. Lovely crew. Service decent. I can't comment on safety apart from telling you the flights all arrived at the expected airports with us in one piece. Kenya fly 787s up from JNB and we were on a max for the domestic flight.

I'm flying DAR-NBO in a few weeks and chose Kenya Airways. Have heard mostly good things but I haven't yet personally with with them.

I flew Air Tanzania from Entebbe to Dar-es-Salaam. Mind you this was in late 1990. It was an early flight the next morning so I'd gone out to the airport from Kampala in the late afternoon to find a place to stay overnight. Getting there I discovered there were no hotels but a kind Uganda Airlines staff member took pity on me and gave me dinner in their staff room and let me sleep on the floor. Next day all passengers walked onto the tarmac and selected our checked bag to hand to the guys loading the plane. Meanwhile the front of the plane was wide open like a crocodile's mouth and being loaded with freight. We were just the few pieces of self-loading freight down the back. Uneventful flight thankfully, can't remember anything about it.
So a 100% positive experience, if only 35 years out of date.
