Could I suggest that the header line for this when it appears in the profile be amended to "Verified QF and/or VA status" (plus any other that come into it).

As it stands, those of us who claim status on other airlines may have that brought into doubt if it isn't positively 'verified' by showing up; of course at the moment it can't be verified by AFF but the casual reader doesn't know that.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

...and at this point in time have succeeded ...

Why they would want to block this, I can't rationally fathom ...

Could be they don't like situations where people give over their passwords to a third party?

Perhaps. But I can think of other commercial reasons why Virgin would be unhappy with the status of their customers being made public and visible to competing airlines ;)

Anyway- yes they did block us a couple of days ago. Stay tuned for the next installment of what could be a long cat and mouse game!

Award wallet doesn't publicly show your information.

True but it does ask for your account details the same as AFF. Not sure what issue VA would have with this being displayed publicly as its gathered in the same way on Award Wallet and AFF

Do Award Wallet and the other aggregators have a prior agreement and/or seek permission from the airlines for securing members details ?

Don't know about Award Wallet specifically, but doubt it. I know that many aggregators using similar scrapping technologies to AFF do so without permission or approval.

I set up the AFF Verified Airline Status and it showed for some time. It has disappeared, i went back and checked everything, read the instructions, rechecked. Admin are you able to check this for me please.

Sometimes the automated process we us to get your status does fail for a whole bunch of reasons which are outside our control. In this situation, the process is automatically run again after a few days, so if should self-correct after a few days.
