AFF Search settings

Maybe @Admin can help. I'm trying to use the AFF forum search for the following:

LAX Security Bag Drop Off, and I get this:



So essentially its searching "Security Drop"

Is there some way to improve my search?

sometimes I use the search criteria in google and include Australian Frequent Flyer and that works

Thank you @serfty and @VPS . using google just seems a bit of a roundabout solution. Given the propensity of acronyms used on AFF the search options should be able to accept short words.

This is a MySQL limitation. The default minimum word length to be indexed is 4. While it's possible to lower this, it would result in slower searching. There's always a trade off. As there is already a workaround to find shorter words, it's probably not necessary for us to change the search settings.
