I flew to Melbourne from Brisbane in August. I think I was in 2A. I found the seat had less room than the 737.

The csm was not having a good day. He had two painful DYNWIA in 1 A/C who eventually had to be cut off!

The galley in the A220 is apparently much smaller and difficult to work in. Something had happened to the J food prior to it being loaded and much of it come on board upside down and was unusable. I felt so sorry for the csm.

I didn’t notice it as being much quieter than a 737. I came away disappointed.

I’m giving it another go on the way home from our November get together.

The 220 J is definitely narrower as its the same style seat but in a smaller aircraft. It is basically the same seat design as the 321XLR but that feels about the same as 737NG for width.

So worse than VA J in every way. (I think that the VA lounge in CBR is very nice, with very friendly and helpful staff. The only downside is no ham for the toasties.)
