They are competing with Qantas who are using many 737 planes that are almost 20 years old.
Shares should bounce once fuel supplies return to normal.

What's this industry? What are 737 planes.

Good buying under $2.20. lasted for a week then gapped 10%

The VLP company is a Perth based veterinary supplier that can issue e-scripts. The reason for my interest is the animal/pet servicing business has grown to a $2 billion size..
It would be something for sophisticated investors to look at as the growth would need to be funded.
Talking about VGN which is Virgin Airlines in Australia they are going ok against Qantas who have pretty old domestic 737s.
Yesterday we flew on Qantas 321XLR from Perth to Sydney and some design errors are obvious that may get fixed as they roll out new planes. It is not a replacement for the old 330-200 with sleeper seats so now Qantas is competing with very ordinary products domestically.

I wouldn’t hold your breath. CPI is heading one way for a while yet (which is doing wonders for my modest CPI indexed DBS pension. Other stuff (around the world), has not been so good for my super…and direct shares/funds….

Yes the Treasurer has now said he is planning 4 more years of deficits. With a bit of luck he can become a casualty of rising taxes but maybe I am dreaming.
Over the years shares and property have been good to us and we need a country where capital can grow and prosper.
The number of businesses teetering on failure is growing larger and all our governments are growing larger.
That was a nice bump from Virgin which is VGN.

I fear that he will sell it as lowering the deficit... i.e. I'm not as bad an economic manager now, as I was.
But, done by increasing taxation ("fairer") primarily.
Market reaction will be telling, the smart money doesn't have political affiliations.
