AFF Member Stock Discussion

Obviously, people are upset

Indeed.. but this seems a typical example of the risks involved in picking winners.
Folks would be shouting it from the rafters, spruiking their canny stock picking skills, if the price doubled
Chasing stock rainbows is a high risk exercise akin to other gambling pursuits.. a few winners and a majority of losers..caveat emptor

To be frank, I should have done this time time ago!
Now you're making me ponder whether I just cut my loss and run on those bonds..... "only" a £2k loss (on a £4k stake), but it annoys me whenever I look at the portfolio as everything else is positive, or at most no more than a £100 loss!

Well, that's up to you, of course, but I would..... I did :).

I need to get better at setting up stop losses when I enter a trade. That way, the decision to sell when the trade moves against me is automatic and emotionless. I do it sometimes but not always!
