Correct. HSBC wants to exit retail banking in Australia. I'd expect they will announce something within the next 4 - 6 months.

That's frustrating. Not because HSBC are the be all and end all but because it just means we have to choose from one of the big four or their subsidiaries!

And 5 days later, back out of TWE again.

Makes it less likely we will get further card innovation e.g. the Star Alliance card.

Didn’t buy the latest Penfolds phone offer as TWE have wrongly priced their products.
Now we have NAB with payroll issues.
Qantas cops a fine for being coughs to their workers and the current CEO was not in court to hear the judgement and criticism.
Getting interested in Judo Capital’s report this month.

With the reporting season showing lots of downgrades it seems the inevitable correction is nigh.

Just for giggle … Aceept that a correction is imminent and state your best guess asx 200 in 6 months and 12 months

I say 7800 at 6 months ( +/-3 months) and 8450 in 12 > 18 months

Been driving today and stopped for lunch and checked the price…

Fortunately my average cost base for CSL was about half of todays’s open….but I did buy some parcels and the earlier slump. Oh well, just a blip in a few years time.
