AFF Member Stock Discussion

My friend still holds his Austal shares. He has lots. We sold ours.
We have Veem which is a supplier to Austal.
Twiggy has Austal too.
Gosh AFF in London in 2013 with you @ncm and @Flashback ….such a memory. Mrscove loves London so we will keep going there.
Mrs FB is happy to hear that!

We went to hear Phil King from Regal Funds discuss business. Shortly after that Regal got smashed with one of their investments failing. When RPL and RF1 tanked we bought both. We were surprised how quickly those two jumped back up.

Goodman is quite debt adverse compared with CharterHall ,Centuria and others. Goodman raised $4 billion at $33.50 and their share price got swamped with sellers. It will take time to invest that amount of funds in data centres and other real estate.
There would be easier shares to buy.

ACQ had a tough first half but going ok as a tiddler. It is pretty small.
Have just caught up on the bad news for NWH which is NRW. They appear to be getting stiffed on $113 million debtor with the Whyalla steel mill group based on some government moves. Not nice for NWH so the stock took a hit this morning.
Aspen have announced a placement and share purchase plan at $2.90. We have 5 holdings in APZ.
Gave up on Tyro which is TYR. They need to hire someone who knows how to make profits.
The Four Corners program about Bunnings had no affect on Wesfarmers shares as they have gone up.
