AFF Member Stock Discussion

Well @odysseus i once flew Melbourne to Launceston with Jetstar. However we have many stocks and a few bonds and have racks of lever arch files with the paperwork. Mrscove handles the dividend reporting for the accountants progressively thru the year.
Our favourites for distributions have been CharterHall CQE, Resimac RMC , Cromwell CMW and Aspen APZ..
Out of those only Resimac is franked. Crowell recently lowered their quarterly distrbution and we took the opportunity to buy more around 79 to 81.
My latest task is getting my sons switched on to the markets so that they can learn from their successes and failures.
With loans carrying interest rates of close to zero prime commercial and industrial real estate has started selling below 4% yield. Naturally we consider that to be crazy and keeping great tenants has to be a high priority. Loan interest rates won’t stay low forever......

Major benefit of multiple accounts is access to SPP's.

1 account = 1 application
10 accounts = 10 applications

Painful from an admin perspective? Absolutely! But there are definnitely benefits.

Yep. It's the primary reason why I have multiple accounts. I worked this out about a decade ago. Wish I'd worked it out sooner. It has meant a huge amount to the building of my portfolio.

Given they all belong to CHESS, for day to day trades I usually go with the lowest priced broker. Exception might be if I don't have cash in the trading account and needed to buy immediately I'd use Comsec or similar that offer the delayed payment option.

The Orocobre /Galaxy tie up looks great as we have both of them.
We took up the Maggie Beer offer today at 35 cents.
Thought about selling some gold shares but it seems China and India have become gold bulls. No rush if that proves to be true.
Called Elixir as they are in a trading halt fund raiser. Waiting for news by Wednesday.
MIN had an analyst review show and tell today and we wish we had not sold before they rocketed.

Our Maggie Beer share issue documents arrived a day after their issue closed. Thanks Australia Post......
Lucky we went online yesterday rather than wait for Australia Post.....

I'm still taking haircut on ORG and CGF(DOWN 50%)

This Maggie beer that code or some food stock?

I wouldn't be buying ORG at the moment. I would want to see it hold above the October 2020 and March 2020 lows and show a proper change of trend to the upside.

ATM, it's on its way down!

Maggie Beer company is acquiring a profitable hamper business.
We sold two thirds of our Challenger shares and we are not missing them.
Don’t know about ORG but it is not on our radar.
Perseus seems to be going well in 2021.

Yes @PLANT that Maggie Beer issue was a shareholder offer at 35 cents. It is now closed.
Averaging down our entry price can be risky but we took the chance.
Not sure about doing that with Wiluna Mining.

Latitude Financial which is LFS closed last night at $2.65 after starting to trade a couple of days ago. Nothing much to see and no real money for the stags.
EXR is doing a share purchase plan @ $0.36 which is a long way off recent traded prices. That is the Mongolian gas driller.

Yes @Freq Flier 2013 that will be a big read. We are surprised how many don’t bother to read every page of a document like a prospectus.
Latitude has had some time below the issue price yesterday.
Have made it to Sydney last night after several failed attemts to escape the kingdom of Western Australia. Mrscove is coming over tonight.

I'm on IAG today. If my recent form is any indicator, I expect that IAG will be down again on Monday!

AUB and Steadfast are the only two insurance companies to follow. We bailed out of IAG hybrids and have zero interest in IAG.
