Since 1998, Australian Frequent Flyer (AFF) has been helping its members to travel better and get more out of their frequent flyer points. We now want to help even more people and are reaching out to the AFF community to expand our editorial team.
Would you like to share your knowledge of airlines, travel, loyalty programs and credit cards with the Australian public?
If you have strong writing skills, love to travel independently and have lots of experience with frequent flyer programs, this freelance role could be for you!
You’ll need an excellent working knowledge of major frequent flyer programs and credit card rewards programs. You should also have a high level of general knowledge about the aviation industry. We’ll look very favourably on candidates who are also active AFF forum members.
Although AFF is based in Melbourne, this is a remote position and you do not need to live in Melbourne.

- Is an experienced traveller who has travelled independently on domestic and international trips
- Has a high level of general knowledge about the aviation industry, airlines and geography
- Has excellent computer skills, ideally with experience using WordPress
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Flexible working hours
- Work from anywhere you like (with an internet connection)
- Work on a freelance basis and be paid per article
- You would initially write approximately one article per fortnight, but there is the potential to increase the scope and responsibilities for the right candidate
