AFF gold membership status not recognized

Hi All,
I have paid my upgrade to gold membership fee. My issue is that I am trying to re-join the Qantas Club but my AFF gold status is not being recognized. I keep getting asked to upgrade. I only have until the end of August to re-join to avoid another joining fee.
Has anyone else had the same issue and what was the resolve please?
I have used the AFF contact us message page 3 times now with no response.
Are there any suggestions for me to get this resolved?

Did you use different emails? Eg paid with one via PayPal but that's not the email addy you log in here with? That happened to me.

No. Same email. Paid by bank transfer.

Hi all, Looking to renew my QC as it has now lapsed for approx. 1 year. I was a QC Member and Gold FF status for 10+ years. Do Q ever offer a promo to rejoin or sign up incentive? Thanks,
