Re: Participants

Gee, you guys have a knack for booking these weekends on weekends that I'm not available :(. If things change I'll be there, but at this stage it looks like I'll have to give this a miss...

Re: Participants

Just booked my JQ3 return and had the nicest Jetstar employee ever!

Told them about AFF too, so hopefully they'll join and share some stories some time :)

Also, updated attendees to here.

Platinum!

Perfect Timing! I fly back from a trip to Asia on the 20th.
I have booked a room at the Martin Memo Manor, Melbourne.
Looking forward to it!

It's too early for me to commit, but I've booked a room at HSW for Friday and Saturday just in case :)

Would that be Gold then?

That would be correct :)

(just can't be Platinum as I know I have a lot of travel at that time of year - I already know I'm going to the USA the week after, and will have gotten back from the USA a few weeks before).

Happy to make up the foursome.

Colour me platinum (first AFF event after a few FT do's - including organising this years JapanDo). Tossing up between HoTP and Grand Hyatt for accommodation.

Yeah. I'll be in for golf as well IF I come. A bit much going on at the moment to commit. So I'm a "maybe"

Thanks

That's (potentially) 5 so far. I'm thinking late morning Sunday. Can start researching courses.

Royal Park could be a good option closer to the city.

Many of the Sand belt and Peninsula courses are far superior, but that involves transport each way (and time).

Alternatively there are a couple in the Sunbury area which may allow us to golf before heading to the airport for a lounge meetup.

There is always the one at the airport!

Change my status to platinum please, staying at the Hilton on the park, arriving Saturday

Melbourne airport golf club sounds good. We should be able to fill a couple of tee times and drinks could be in the airline lounges after the game.

I have just been looking at reviews on iseekgolf and most are good. Latest one was ~2 weeks ago and cost on weekend was $27.50 which sounds like great value.

May I politely suggest a Dim Sum brunch / lunch for the non Golfers on Sun ?;)

An official tour of all of the international lounges on offer in Melbourne would appeal to me. I would love to see what the other alliances I don't currently fly with offer.

i am currently Gold, it is still too far away to know what work travel I will have so cannot be coloured WP yet.
