I have made a concerted effort in recent months to track more of my flights, particularly those from years ago.
Going back over old movement requisitions and TA forms etc was a good source - pre retirement shredding!

Interestingly, I have kept some of my Ansett Golden Wing and Global Rewards paperwork from pre 2001. I cant bear to throw out my flight upgrade certificates, lounge passes (+points statements) they use to send out! All worthless since the collapse! :(. Sad Days!

But a good flight source is on the back of the rewards statements which lists your flights for the period. While the vast majority of flights found on these I already had listed, there were a couple I had missed, which I added to the flight tracker :).

While I still have plenty of missing flights, I am currently up to 302 segments, 342,000kms, 8.5x around the world and at some point I will get to the moon, but never to Mars

Cheers

Interesting, Coops1.

I wish there was a way to garner information about the trans-Pacific flights I took on Pan Am (and then United when it bought the routes and jets in 1985).

I have passport stamps and memories only, alas.

I remember the warm midnight air while refueling at Honolulu, the little conical paper cups at the water stations up the back of the 747-100 and -200, and a million other similar memories.

I too can't part with some useless memorabilia... I have my Pan Am luggage tags, Frequent Traveler card, and so forth.

I also have my late grandfather's certificate appointing him to the Clipper Club, signed by Juan Trippe in 1957, framed above my desk.

I could go on...

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I’d pop my question in here:

Does anyone know how to locate the rego for aircraft older than a week or so, which is all google will show?

I’m trying to fill one gap in Miss H’s flight history. A missing rego is not a big deal, but as it’s the only one missing it would be good to fill it in.
