Hi all,

My second technical issue post of the hour! I have recently upgraded my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 to KitKat 4.4.2, and one of the first things I noticed after all the apps reinstalled, was that the AFF app no longer worked for me! I have cleared data and uninstalled/reinstalled, but with no success. App freezes on the AFF splash screen when opening, and goes no further. Any known fix, or is it just me?

Cheers.

No issues here with 4.4.2 galaxy s4. If you've cleared the data and uninstall we then that's the major troubleshooting steps done.

Am hopeful that AFF is not forced to upgrade to the latest Tapatalk for Android

Use regular Tapatalk for a few other forums and the latest update is horrible.
Introduces a more graphical interface that has horrible spacing
(eg. when browsing participated posts I can only see 2.5 on screen)

As noted in a community announcement post, AFF will not be updating to the latest version of Tapatalk, which is causing a bit of an issue with compatibility. So you don't have to worry about it changing, but it also might not be around much longer :(
