I got offered 75%!

But…. once you click through to purchasing portal I was eligible for the 100% over 60k.

If you are considering buying points, I’d check the actual purchasing page.

Same for me. I have 150,000 points already but tempted!!

I had trouble joining Aeroplan and I think a number of other members did too. I used multiple browers and today used Edge and click allow location so no idea whether that helped but anyway I'm now a member and could buy with a 75% bonus and no option for any more when I went to the payment page

worth noting that some new members have difficulty actually completing the purchase of miles, or purchase the miles but the transaction fails to post. doesn’t happen to everyone but I have had it happened to at least one of my friends and I think there was one report on these forums too.

Yes, this was my experience too, 75% when I first looked but when I clicked on link in email 100% over 60K. Tempting.

100% offer on min 60K purchase, was planning to buy and been on my mind for a while - Should I - Should I not? 🤔 haiz.zzzz

Could someone please suggest a cashback site for points.com page for purchasing aeroplan points? cashbackmonitor I found 2% on rebatesme and dollar dig but never use them before so hoping someone can give some inputs. Thanks.

AUD->CAD isn’t too bad at the moment. I think i purchased my last lot of miles when the aussie was slightly lower… .89 or .90. At that rate a return business class to europe came in at around $4400.

The current offer is pretty good almost as good as it gets - my only worry is AC changing / enhancing their program before you get to use he points and/or the ever changing / reduction in award seat availability. Right now SQ awards are great value when redeeming with AC points and very available BUT .....

Return OZ-Europe in J is 220,000 or about $4200 AUD + fees and taxes so about $4500 - the very best you can do on a paid fare when specials are on offer is about $6000 (e.g. recent QR/AY SYD-HEL return).
