Aerobridge hits QF63 (A380) at SYD

I imagine they didnt have a crew after the above delayed ~24 hours,
They didn't have a plane.

VH-OQH still yet to fly since the incident.

Sun Mornings QF63D seemingly took the aircraft (VH-OQI) that was scheduled for QF81, with QF81 operated by an A333 - unfortunate for F passengers in particular.

What is it with all the errant air bridges running into aircraft?
Oh wait, it must be QANTAS' fault!!
Do we suspect a lack of ongoing training, or just normal training to be done.
A 737 or a 380 is a damn big bit of kit when you are driving an airbridge - how can you not see it??????
The average driver of an airbridge would be, what, 1 meter from the edge of the bridge!!!!!
Have we located a blind spot with airbridges in Australia??

Gave him a hammer, couldn’t hit the nail, gave him a bat couldn’t hit the ball, gave him an airbridge he hit everything 😂

So about an 80-hr fix from the Sat morning incident.

VH-OQH about to operate QF1.
It got a base maintenance check as well. It was due to go to LAX this week for it's regular base maintenance check (last was mid-May), but the resulting schedule switches meant it would miss its slot at LAX so it was done at SYD now instead.
