Advice on electrical re-wiring

Hi

I am moving to Australia from the States.
I have this ceiling fan


Any electricians on here that could give me a general idea of if I can have this rewired?
I think the answer is going to be no, because of the motor/ voltage issues. I figured I would ask before I put on the goodbye list.
And yes I know I can get a ceiling fan in Australia. It just wont look as awesome as this on my travel/nap room

Motors are generally the thing that don't work when moved from the US to Australia - both voltage and frequency are different (110-230V and 60hz - 50hz)
It's not a matter of re wiring, it will need a new motor as otherwise it will run 20% slower on 50hz power, and that's if it works on 230V which it probably won't.

It's a fantastic fan! My assumption would be to get a step-down transformer of sufficient wattage mounted above the ceiling.

Not an electrician, but I have run 110 volt appliances using a step down transformer as stated above. If space isn't an issue, I'd bring it and worry about the voltage later.
