Advice on champagne

Larmandier-Bernier Brut Tradition marked down to $45 at DM's in Hamilton. Just had to clear them of their stocks to refresh ourselves in this Brisbane heat. Bargain of the century for one of the best NVs at over 50% off normal price.

FYI with the current woolies offer of 30% of for 6 or more, plus the 10% code WWONLINE14 (til 17/11 i believe) you can pick up veuve for <$50/bottle. got a 1000 point bonus offer from woolies for spend >$275 so worked nicely.

Veuve currently $53.70 at Dan's/6 less 9.15% via SH/WISH = $48.78 IMCAC.

i'll play along cruiser... :)

caveat you have to buy 6 bottles through woolies online too (although i believe it can be a mixed 1/2 dozen)

77.14 less 30% discount = $54
less 10% code discount = $48.60
less 5% pay by gift card = $46.17

those playing in the bigger leagues could have Dom for $179.55, although it doesn't note which year.

Dans have Dom for $179 anyway...

One of our local supermarkets in the UK has 25% off if you buy 4 wines at the moment. Also, Nicolas Feuillatte brut is 50% off normal price.

I don't mind Nicolas Feuillatte as a cheap champagne, it certainly has a decent taste. So I stocked up. $A22 a bottle is very decent.

I bought this for 12GBP last xmas at waitrose ,if I remember correctly, on 50% special so A$22 sounds pretty good. Very drinkable.....quite dangerous if my taste buds serve me well!!!!

8% discount on start here at Dans. Just in time for xmas restocking and stocking fillers
Haven't used start here, how does it work? Can you pay as normal using Amex or a Woolies Gift Card? Does the 8% come straight off the price to pay so not waiting for reimbursement?

I gather it pays back to your amex/visa/MC, but if you pay with a gift card where does the reimbursement pay to?
