One for the guru's. As a WP I have put in an upgrade request using my points to Business for my NB Brother & Sister in-law. Flight is showing 2xI class, 0xU. I am on the same flight but different PNR. Question: when Yield Management does their thing will this request be treated as a WP or NB?

I would be interested in this answer. It used to be the status of the person requesting the upgrade, but I am sure I read somewhere that this had been fixed.....

Given the different PNR, it'd be treated as NB.

Isn't this a WP1 perk only? So the answer would be the upgrade would have the NB status attached to it.
