How's the food at Lot10?

Italian. Pretty good. Value for money.

On Sunday for $60 per head we got entree (crumbed stuffed olives, arancini balls, vegetarian antipasti platters, meat antipasti platters), choice of 5 mains (lasagne, fancy macaroni called something like 'artisan sciaffino with ragu', roast pork, eggplant parmigiana and another pasta dish I can't recall) with bread (loads of bread) and salad, dessert, tea and coffee.

Just walked past SoS and Jasmine as usual accosted me and asked 'where are you going?' so I appeased her by saying I was coming in on Saturday night for a group dinner and she said 'oh you are one of them' with a slight emphasis on 'them' 🤣 Not quite sure what to make of that! Good to see they have reopened for Tuesdays though, they cut their opening hours quite a lot last year.

Reminds me of the TV ad on industry superfunds with the villain fund manager referring to one of "them" with the hand gesture...

.....ADL airport have removed the physical arrival desk check-ins with the raffle ticket given to you to show the police that you have been processed - thank goodness!!!.....
Well that is disappointing I am flying back today and was looking forward to my ‘Admit One’ ticket.

I think based on post 125 that would be a 'no'.
So I’m a YES for dinner should there still be a freed up seat for us on the waitlist....

also I’m gonna dig into the port collection and see if I can find an aged beauty for dessert if that’s viable
guidance appreciated

Last time I didn't get the Admission ticket. I don't know what the person behind the desk was doing. She told me my pass was old and I should be using a different one with different number and it was produced on 23rd March. I showed her the date of the one I was using and it was the 23rd March. Oh. She clicked away some more then sent me off. Got to the Police check in, he asked for my Admittance ticket, I said I didn't get one but he waved me through. This was three weeks ago.

I’ll add you in. The corkage said wine only - you might need to ask the restaurant if port is included in the corkage or if the bottle looks like any wine bottle perhaps it’ll go unnoticed.

Could someone please remind me what time to show up on Saturday?

Firstly, thanks everyone for confirming your attendance. The final numbers have been confirmed with the restaurant.

Star of Siam
67 Gouger St, Adelaide SA 5000
8pm (2nd seating for Sat)

Attendees: 19

We could either meet at the lobby of Hilton at 7:45pm before heading to the restaurant or if you go there directly, please ask for the table of 19 (I am pretty sure we are the only large group for the night). Please be aware that they have 2 seatings on the weekends so don't go there too early as they may not be able to seat you before time.

Good News Everyone,

I've managed to get a discount from the restaurant to round the food bill to $40 per person! :D

Please remember to bring sufficient cash to cover your meal & drinks/corkage. Meals have been prepaid. Drinks/corkage will be paid on that evening. I will bring a notepad to help us keep track.
Thanks & see you tomorrow
!

@blackcat20 , @Hvr , @JessicaTam , @boomy plus other interstate visitors, I would really like to say your journey to the DPRSA has only just begun however our 'admit one' ticketing system seems to have come to an end and now all the rabble are now are allowed to enter with relative ease. I am looking forward to the dinner.

We have the 8:00pm (second sitting) at the restaurant, not sure if there are pre-dinner drinks anywhere.
anyone organising pre-drinks?

You're the only person I know that look forward to that silly raffle ticket and time wasting at the desk while straining to hear what the person was trying to ask you through the mask :p
Back in Feb, I had the trifecta, if the raffle ticket system was not humiliating enough, I got my nose prodded at the airport and twice more thereafter, just for an overnight trip!
