Those of you have have flown out of Adelaide (Australia) Airport, most recently...
In the past, there was that long table where outgoing AU immigration & cards were placed to be be filled in outgoing passengers.
The long table against the wall has disappeared.
Just wondering, (of course in the back of my head I know they still give it out), but do they now give it to you at the check in coutner?
Or are the forms somewhere else.
QF does not fly int out of Adelaide, so I thought I would ask here, as SQ still does.
Thanks.:( OR :mad:/:shock: where are they?

Have always received mine at check-in counter.

I've always got mine from the check in counter. There was an area to the right of the immigration check point, after international security on 7 May that had the cards.

Thanks.
Just that I have flights via Sydney and thought I would grab those cards before I get to Sydney. I do pop into ADL airport often for domestic AU flights.
Looks like I will have to pick them up in Sydney then.
One is an NZ trip, ADL to SYD to AKL. Have to check in for this one with VA in ADL, so will ask them there, on the date I leave.
Others are via SYD too with QF.
Come to think of it, getting the cards at check in saves $ too, as the cards will then only be used for their "proper" purposes, rather than as kids or adult's past time drawing things on them or writting rubbish on them.
OK, question answered and dealth with.

The cards are available in Adelaide. As such it is hard to agree that you need to get them in Sydney.

While we are on the subject of stockpiling the cards....Has anyone setup a word processing template to pre-print the forms with their own basic details, Name, Passport, Expiry etc. Then just write in the Flight Number on departure?

I tried but they were too short too feed through my printer. Even taping them onto an A4 sheet of paper they would jam or misprint. That was a couple of years ago though, with a pretty coughpy printer.

I took a bunch home about 3 years ago and FINALLY remembered where I had left them last week prior to Mrs D jetting off again. It does save a lot of faffing about at the airport when one completes it in the comfort of the kitchen table

Yes, its the saving time feature that I liked about it, when it was for all to take, but them taking it away, in a way, is also saving time, for them, and making that space more open.
Also, when I have time, I don't make mistakes!!!
I thought that them things were not to be copied, (the outgoing passenger cards).
I do note that incoming into SYD, it still for people to take, just as you pass the en masse duty free area, just coming towards the ramp going down towards immi incoming passenger checks.
I would not be game enough to make copies, no matter how good my printer was, to make copies, fill them in, and hand the A4 copies, duly filled in to the guy/girl that collects them things as I clear the last hurdle coming back to Australia!

For Medhead, I prefill.
Now, that they have taken it away, (from public access at ADL airport, and now only available at check in counters), I can only ask or get provided one card for outgoings.
I should have taken a lot of them when I had the chance. But who knew they were going to "disappear" from public access.
(**)> I have a flight next year though, that going ADL to SYD (dom), its QF. Stop in SYD for about 6 hours, then its NZ (6.45pm flight), to NZ with NZ.
So for that trip, I will have to get across, dom to int, and go to check in with NZ to get the outgoing passenger card. I will try NZ OLCI and just turn up at the counter to ask for the outgoing passenger card.
The QF ticket is not linked to the NZ ticket. I want to try NZ 767 J from SYD to AKL, QF does not have 767s TT. NZ 767s are the only ones that have J seating straight ahead, 777 are angled. EK is also angled in J.
So I have to clear dom arr, wait for the 400 bus, pay $4.60 or what it is next year, go to int and get the outgoing passenger card, NZ now has OLCI, so thats great.

Adelaide Airport immi & customs departure cards-I usually am in the QFF area ...

I'm not sure of the issue. The check in counters at Adelaide airport certainly are in a public access area. The cards are at the domestic check in desks. All you have to do for your flight to NZ is go to the Qantas check in desk and pick up an outgoing passenger card. Fill that in on your Qantas flight and bobs your uncle.

In Sydney I'd highly recommend the train over the 400 bus. Even if it costs a bit more ($5.50) the schedule is worth it. But if you do take the 400 bus it is eligible for a 2 sector ticket between terminals. That should be about $2 or so.

Easily obtained in Adelaide this morning from a Qantas check in desk in a publicly accessible area.
