Looking for F/J on any routes to the US end of November and no seats released to this point. Flights look wide open on EF.

Chances on seats being made available for classic award? If so, ~ how far out?

I do have alerts set with EF already.

I would think that might be doubtful. That's when Thanksgiving is, one of the main holidays in the U.S. It would be a popular time of year for travel to the US one would think.

If you have WP or above status give QF a call and see if they will release seats.

It’s still 3 weeks from Christmas, which was my concern, but you are probably right.

I guess I will just continue monitoring, thanks!

I see plenty of choice 2 x F (SYD-LAX) and 2 x J (BNE-LAX) late Nov as NB.....been that way on 287-ish days release for a few weeks

11/30-12/2 are the preferred dates.

I see availability midweek before.
Ok, by end november I was looking from mid 20's.....
Your narrow date window also removes the Tues/Weds/Thurs from the equation, the most 'likely' days to have remaining availability.
Pushing the proverbial up hill, with limited flexibility at that time of year....surprising to see so much available the week prior.
Keep monitoring it though. I was watching the easter 2019 period mid last year and there were definitely some 'random' releases of J at different times

Right and connecting through Japan with JL J is still better than economy.
