Hi all

I'll shortly be booking reward flights from Melbourne to New York (QF93 & QF11), but with a stop over for a few days in LA.

I know QF11 can only be booked as part of a Qantas international flight. But I was wondering, can I book a QF93 as soon reward flights are released, and then add QF11 a few days later, or do both reward flights need to be booked at the same time?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You should be able to do so by calling up. You'll just have to pay the change fee.

And do not use the term “add a flight”. Some will understand that, but many will say you can’t do it. Say you want to change your booking and then give them the details, Change a booking is allowed with a change fee (and maybe more taxes and maybe even more points), adding a flight is not. That is my experience anyway.
