Just a random question

If we are flying LHR to Sydney with a stop eg Malaysia, Singapore , Hong Kong etc can we exit there and add in more luggage ?

Say for example we have a 12 hour gap between first leg and second leg and we do some shopping ?

Ooohhh thank you . That could be a tad expensive, oh I mean handy lol
Does it depend on the carrier/country ?
no, the only requirement is that you have the ability and time to enter the country and get to check in before it closes.

your baggage allowance is your baggage allowance.

nothing to stop you adding or subtracting from that at any point (the reverse of adding more bags is ‘short checking’ where you collect one bag at a transit point and leave it behind).
