Some properties will let you chose more expensive rooms but I’d be very surprised if properties allowed all their inventory to be matched to Stay Plus. It's really disappointing the only basic rooms seem to be on offer, everywhere I looked. Hopefully an upgrade comes through, but I'm doubtful on that.
Stay Plus free night availability is not guaranteed for above standard rooms. As per their T&C:It's really disappointing the only basic rooms seem to be on offer, everywhere I looked. Hopefully an upgrade comes through, but I'm doubtful on that.
Yes - got that on Chrome. Also ended up on the app, but kept a normal search on the web to use as my comparison.Do others get this error on the website when switching on the StayPlus option (Singapore/January for reference)? Sometimes I'd get a preview of rates for different hotels, but this would happen if I progress through onto the hotel page.

I had this in both Chrome and Edge... ended up using the app to book.
Could any kind member here please help with checking the availability of stay plus properties in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 18 August 2026 to 23 August 2026?
Thank you in advance.
Thank you so much for checking and for your welcome!Welcome to AFF!
I did a quick search (looking at one stay for those dates) and there are 9 hotels with availability and varying surcharges
Grand Mercure Kuala Lumpur Bukit Bintang
ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Bukit Bintang
Novotel Kuala Lumpur City Centre
Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre
Mercure Kuala Lumpur Shaw Parade
ibis Kuala Lumpur City Centre
ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Fraser Business Park
Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara
Mercure Selangor Selayang
The 'other' 5 didn't show availability this search.
Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur
Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur
Mercure Kuala Lumpur Tron
ibis Styles Kuala Lumpur Sri Damansara
ibis PJCC Petaling Jaya
No.Thank you so much for checking and for your welcome!
If I want to stay 5 nights in a row, would Stay Plus allow me to book/pay for 2 nights and have 2 nights free (I will have to pay the last 1 night)?
I.e. Pay for Night 1, 3 and 5, get night 2 and 4 free?
I have booked a Superior Suite at Pullman Melbourne on the Park for two nights in January using one Stay Plus night. I was charged an additional $150 for the Stay Plus night because it’s a suite, whereas if I select a standard room, there’s no extra charge.Stay Plus free night availability is not guaranteed for above standard rooms. As per their T&C:
6.2(b) The Stay Plus Free Night benefit is valid for a standard room at participating brands. Some hotels may also offer members an opportunity to upgrade their stay by using their Stay Plus Free Night benefit and paying an additional supplement.
They also have various black out dates and variations for the Stay Plus benefit here ALL Accor+ Explorer Member Stay Benefits Variations
My understanding is that you can make a single booking for five nights and choose to use your Stay Plus night within that booking if you wish. However, I’ve also noticed that not all room types in the available hotels are eligible for a Stay Plus night. For example, Pullman only allows standard rooms to be booked using the Stay Plus benefit.Thank you so much for checking and for your welcome!

I’ll probably find a way to “waste” it somewhere. Nothing much of any value for the hotels we frequent so farIs anyone just forgoing their buy 1 get 1 night free benefit?
I used to love it , when it was 1 night , as for us , that worked well....
