Could I get a check on Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour with a check in somewhere between January 4 to January 8? I would check this myself but saw a free night pop up on December 29th and decided to snag it while the going was good (booking Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour using the Stay Plus is very tricky).

You just do a test booking and turn the toggle on. It will sort of tell you if it's available for that booking. Otherwise a quick test is if it shows "Free" or something low like $20, instead of the usual night cost. If it doesn't show those, then it's not available.

Be aware if you have a stay plus free night in your account your rates for any booking at a hotel will be inflated until you use it, it’s a bug rather than intentional but could be an expensive one. Do a dummy booking without logging in first to see if your affected, room options are also limited. It’s been that way since 2018

We have a StayPlus we'll be eligble for in Feb, and am just looking in advance to see if a date in Dec has any/much availability before making other travel bookings. Sofitel Darling Harbour seems to be the sweet spot for StayPlus benefit as I hardly ever see rooms going for less than $400 per night. Good EL as well. I recently grabbed one on 27/3/25.
