Accor Properties in Malaysia

@samh004 you will need to allow about an hour travel time between the city hotels and KLIA. I think the Sofitel evening drinks finish 7pm and Pullman 7:30, not really giving you much time to get the full experience. Probably have to leave by around 8am the next morning. If you want lounge in KL experience and willing to try beyond Accor, the landside Sama² KLIA premier lounge can be very good - 2 cook to order dishes (they have a chef preparing the dishes in the lounge itself) plus hot & cold buffet. Breakfast the next morning in the lounge or a typical big offering in the lobby restaurant. Only a few minutes electric buggy ride to (& from L2 of) the terminal. Worth considering with the limited time you have in KUL. When staying there I tend to book thru Qantas hotels to earn points otherwise zero points if direct booking but the rate is cheaper.

Thanks for the help all, believe the best bet might be to stay close to the airport and then try to visit a pasar malam for that authentic experience close by.

The Ibis looks to be a good price, but wondering if anyone has any experience with the Movenpick - doesn’t look to be priced too much more if I book non-refundable at this stage?
